Cool-toned Balayage

Meet Kayleigh, who had a lovely cool-toned balayage done in our salon. She came in stating her biggest concern is that her hair always leans red and warm toned. For the upcoming colder months of winter, she was looking for something low maintenance while complimenting her more neutral skin tone. After going over the process in depth with her for the okay, Kayleigh agreed to do this cool-toned balayage. Being a busy mom, the lightly blended in highlights effortlessly grow out with time and will blend in with her natural darker roots. After the highlights were rinsed one, we went over with some blue toner to keep down any warm tones. If an at home refresh is needed, we recommend a blue or purple shampoo to bring down any warmth. Blue or purple tinted shampoos can easily be found at a local drugstore beauty supply, but if you need any specific recommendations, stop by and our staff can gladly assist in recommending from the many product lines we carry in store.
